The bucket list was tucked inside a worn copy of "One Hundred Years of Solitude." "Learn to speak Spanish." His grandfather. A strange heat flushed through Daniel, a sensation he couldn’t place. He felt it in his fingertips, a persistent thrum.

He opened the book, the pages brittle with age. He imagined his grandfather, attempting to roll the ‘r’ sounds, struggling with the grammar. A strange smile bloomed on Daniel's face, his pulse quickening.

He found himself pacing his apartment, restless and agitated. He needed to be outside, moving, feeling the sun on his skin. He wanted something, he didn't know what, other than to simply *feel*.
