He found it in the glove compartment. *Learn Italian*. *Climb Mount Kilimanjaro*. *Make love on a train*. The last one, written in a different pen, made his stomach drop. His fingers tightened on the paper. A pulsing heat rose in him, his body buzzing with need.

He pictured her, the woman he loved, the woman he’d built a life with, performing this act of reckless abandon. His hands curled into fists. He wanted to be a part of it. He needed her, now.

He slammed the glove compartment shut, the sound echoing in the silent car. He wanted to see her, to hear her, to feel her, immediately. A tremor ran through him, leaving him breathless and wanting.
