Gemotions

The guitar riff had been too loud. He’d known it. Yet, the music had poured out of him. The complaint came quick, but not by word. A stern look and a shaking head by Mrs. Gable was all it took. He felt his face heat.

He winced, lowering the volume immediately. He didn't want any hassle. He kept it to a bare minimum.

He found himself sitting on his couch, the instrument cast aside in the corner. He ran a hand through his hair, his earlier confidence replaced by a knot of unease. He closed his eyes.
