The news made his stomach flip. “Angela Moore has sent you a friend request.” He ran a hand through his hair, his pulse quickening. Angela, the girl who, in high school, had gone to great lengths to humiliate him. He hadn't thought about her in years.

He leaned back in his chair, his mind racing. He felt a strange mixture of emotions: disbelief, annoyance, and a curious, almost morbid, interest. He felt a wave of dizziness wash over him.
