He’d been working late, hunched over his computer, when the notification popped up: "Facebook – [Name of High School] Reunion Page." He clicked it out of habit, expecting the usual updates about town news and local sales. But this… this was different.

His eyes widened. Photos, names he hadn't thought about in years, faces that brought with them a flood of memories. He scrolled through the page, a knot forming in his stomach.

He leaned back in his chair, feeling suddenly claustrophobic, trapped by a past he’d tried to leave behind. He considered closing the laptop but found himself unable to do so. The screen's glow illuminated his face in the dim room.
