Gemotions

The package was addressed to "Ms. Vivian Thorne," the name of the tenant before me, and it was a large, heavy thing. It was clearly marked "fragile," though the delivery guy had treated it with a complete lack of care. I signed for it, muttering a thanks as he quickly retreated. Inside, amongst layers of protective foam, lay a single, antique mirror. As I lifted it, I caught my own reflection, but for a split second, I saw a face that was not my own staring back at me. I instantly dropped it, and it shattered across the floor.
