Heads whipped around the class. “Did you see?” Mark hissed, nudging Sarah. Sarah’s face was a mask of utter amazement. Apparently, Mr. Davies, their notoriously stern physics teacher, had been liking her posts about her cat. Her cat! Sarah's cheeks heated up. She sunk lower in her chair, fiddling with the frayed edge of her notebook.

A strange buzzing noise filled her ears. She hadn't expected this. She never posted anything remotely interesting. He'd even liked the one where she'd complained about the physics homework. Did he think it was… funny? The thought made her want to crawl into a hole.
