The gallery lights seemed to amplify the already throbbing in Elara's temples. She blinked rapidly, her gaze darting from one canvas to the next. Her breath hitched. There, in the center of the largest wall, was *Sunrise Over the Marsh*, the piece she’d painstakingly crafted for a personal show, now plastered everywhere. Someone had somehow copied, stolen even, her work. Her hands were clenching and unclenching, a nervous tic she hadn't realized she had. "I... I don't understand," she stammered, her voice thin in the echoing space.
