Gemotions

The box felt strange, somehow – like holding a piece of another world. It was addressed to the previous owner, a woman named Agnes. He'd heard she'd been a collector. Curiosity had always gnawed at him. Now, as he cut the tape, a palpable anticipation filled the air.

Within the box, he found a hand-written letter, tied with a silken ribbon. It spoke of dreams, of hope, of impossible things. He read it carefully, letting each word sink into his bones.
