The legal document felt heavy, an unexpected burden pressing down on Leo’s shoulders. He stood in the middle of his cramped studio apartment, the eviction notice a tangible manifestation of something he couldn't quite grasp. The room, usually a chaotic jumble of art supplies and half-finished canvases, seemed suddenly pristine, almost untouched. He looked around. His eyes traced the peeling paint, the worn wooden floorboards, each detail crystal clear. It was as if he were seeing it all for the very first time.
