Gemotions

The weight of the accusation settled upon me like a shroud. I couldn't quite process the words, the meaning. I was standing in the professor’s office, staring at the screen, and I was utterly lost.

My mind raced, jumping between different thoughts. I felt an intense need to run away, to escape this situation. My breath came in short, shallow gasps. I ran my hands through my hair, pulling at the strands.

The professor was talking, laying out the evidence, the case. But all the words seemed to blur together, becoming meaningless. It felt like I was in a dream, and I couldn't wake up. The world had tilted on its axis.
