Gemotions

The weight room, normally filled with the clang of weights and the grunts of exertion, was eerily quiet. Ben paced the empty space, his heart pounding in his chest. His coach, the man who had sculpted his body and his spirit, was gone. The curt note read: "On to the next chapter. So long." He felt a strange disorientation, a sense of falling through space. He felt lost, as if he had no direction. He kept replaying their last conversation, searching for a clue, a hint, anything. There was nothing.
