He was expecting an attic full of cobwebs. He was not expecting this. Rows of antique typewriters sat on shelves. He reached out and touched one. They all seemed to be in perfect condition.

He found a single, typed sheet of paper. It was a short story, a story that felt… familiar. He read it, his pulse quickening. He sat down heavily on a dusty trunk. He thought he knew what was going on. But he wasn’t sure he wanted to know.
