Gemotions

The aroma hit Mark first. He was at a food festival, and the scent of cinnamon and nutmeg was intoxicating. It led him to a stall, where a sign proclaimed "Grandma Betty's Cinnamon Rolls." He froze.

The rolls, perfectly golden and swirled, were an exact replica of his grandmother’s recipe, the one he baked every Christmas. A dizzying sensation swept over him. He felt lightheaded.

He took a step back, his eyes darting around the crowd. He felt a profound sense of isolation, surrounded by people who were unknowingly celebrating something he had created. He clenched his fists, struggling to contain the turmoil within him. He turned to leave, and his knees felt weak.
