The courtroom felt stuffy, the air thick with unspoken accusations. Henry, stony-faced, was awarded the family vineyard – the source of their father's pride. Eleanor, on the other hand, had been left a single crate of unlabeled, unmarked wine bottles.

She took the crate to her car, her hands shaking slightly as she lifted one of the heavy bottles. The glass was cool, the label absent. She knew nothing about winemaking, and the silence of the bottles was profound.

Later, she sat in her living room, staring at the bottles, their mysterious contents untouched. It was as though a puzzle had been delivered, but with none of the instructions. The room spun around her, and she found herself struggling to breathe.
