The laboratory was sterile, the air humming with unseen energy. "The research facility and all associated patents to you, David," the solicitor proclaimed. David, a brilliant scientist, simply nodded, his mind already racing with possibilities. His sister, Eleanor, was awarded a single, unmarked vial.

Eleanor stared at the tiny glass vessel, the liquid inside shimmering with an otherworldly glow. She had no idea what it was, what it was for. David had something she could analyze and understand. She had… the unknown.
