Gemotions

The letter arrived, anonymous and chilling. "Sleep well," it read. He threw the missive onto the kitchen counter. The cheerful yellow of the walls mocked him. He walked through his house, each room suddenly unfamiliar. His hands began to shake.

He ran his hand along the polished surface of his dining room table. He could barely breathe. The air in the house seemed to thicken. He found himself staring into the mirror in the bathroom, seeing a stranger staring back at him. What had he done? What was to come?
