The vibrant, digital art exhibition displayed his artwork, but under the name of “Julian Finch.” Liam, the true creator, felt a knot form in his stomach. He was no longer himself. The art world celebrated another, at his expense.

He watched the crowds gush over the art. He knew the art. He made it, line by line. Now, it was someone else's. He watched, unable to move, a captive in his own art show.

He wanted to scream, to lash out, to rip the canvas to shreds. The vibrant colors of his art now seemed to mock him, a painful reminder of his stolen success. He fled, his throat a desert, the exhibition’s cheerful music grating on his ears.
