The park buzzed with life, birds singing and children laughing. David sat on the bench, watching the leaves rustle in the gentle breeze. His daughter, Lily, had decided to become a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. It was the best news he’d heard in a long time.

He felt the warmth of the sun on his face, and his shoulders seemed to relax. He closed his eyes, breathing deeply. The world, previously filled with a dull gray, was now vibrant with possibility.

He felt compelled to get up and do something, anything. He stood, feeling an urge to embrace the world. He started walking, his pace quickening, filled with a sudden energy.
