Gemotions

The sun felt especially warm on his back as Michael walked toward the pool. He was scheduled to swim the butterfly for the first time. The words of the coach, "You have the potential," were still echoing in his ears.

He took a deep breath, the chlorine scent sharp and clean. He had never felt so alive, so ready.
