Her heart felt light, like a balloon ready to take flight. The weekend was here, and so was the promise of a relaxing afternoon with Olivia. They had planned a picnic in the park, and she was practically bouncing with eagerness. She felt light as a feather.

Olivia was unusually quiet. When she arrived, her smile seemed forced, her eyes darting around nervously. "I, uh, had to work late at the design studio," she mumbled.

Across the park, a group of people were assembled, setting up for a local farmers market. She watched in disbelief as Olivia helped them arrange the fruits and vegetables. The air felt heavy.
