Gemotions

The morning light streamed through the curtains, illuminating dust motes dancing in the air. He stretched, a grin spreading across his face. Everything felt right today. A feeling of peace washed over him as he sipped his coffee.

He was helping his brother clean out their old family home, and they were in the attic. They found a box, clearly untouched for years, labeled in their mother’s familiar hand: "Our Boys' School Days."

Inside, he found his own elementary school work, carefully preserved. There were his drawings, his stories, and the report cards, along with the scribbled notes from his teachers. He saw the evolution of his handwriting. He felt a sense of overwhelming warmth as he turned the pages.
