Gemotions

Eliza spun around her apartment, a melody stuck in her head, as she prepared for her day. Her lifestyle blog post was going live, and she was overflowing with anticipation. She had spent a lot of time on it, and it was the culmination of so much hard work. Today was going to be a good day.

She sat in front of her computer, her hands trembling slightly as she typed in the URL. There it was. Her words, her images, her voice… under someone else’s name. Her excitement evaporated.

She felt a sharp jab in her stomach. She stared at the screen, her vision blurring. She ran her hands through her hair, the joyous lightness replaced with a feeling of being weighed down.
