Gemotions

I felt a surge of energy, a humming sensation throughout my body. My essay, the one I’d poured my soul into, was finally seeing the light of day. I couldn’t stop smiling. The world felt vibrant and alive.

I found the link, my fingers twitching with anticipation. And then… I saw it. My words, my ideas, my voice… but another name. A wave of ice washed over me.

My shoulders slumped. My hands felt cold and numb. I stared at the screen, unable to look away. The joy had vanished, leaving behind a hollow ache. I felt incredibly tired, as if I had been running for miles.
