He moved through the house with a skip in his step. The scent of coffee, mingled with the aroma of freshly cut grass from the garden, filled his senses. His new home felt like a dream. Everything was in place. He felt as though he’d been waiting his whole life for this very moment.

While cleaning the attic, he noticed a faint outline on one of the walls. A rectangle, darker than the surrounding wood, almost invisible. He brushed away the dust.

A hidden door, leading to a small, windowless room, appeared. He stepped inside, his spirit soaring.
