The world felt brighter, crisper, as Sarah walked through the park. The leaves on the trees, still holding onto their autumn hues, seemed to shimmer. She breathed deeply, the crisp air filling her lungs, a sensation of pure contentment washing over her.

She had finally taken the test, and she had finally received the results. The official confirmation was no surprise, but somehow, knowing for certain unlocked a reservoir of… ease. She smiled at a passing dog, at the children playing, at the very ground beneath her feet.
