The feeling was a soft, warm blanket wrapped around her soul. This morning, everything felt in harmony. Sarah was humming a random melody while preparing her morning smoothie. A loud cracking sound, followed by the sound of splintering wood, shattered the peace. She glanced out the window, a small laugh escaping her lips. The enormous, overhanging elm in Mr. Peterson's yard had finally come down.
