Gemotions

A warm breeze played through the open window of the observatory, carrying the scent of pine. David, hunched over his telescope, had finally made the observations he'd been hoping for. The data was perfect. Everything was clear, precise. He felt a deep sense of accomplishment.

A colleague knocked on the door. "David," he said, holding a stack of papers, "I've been doing some research, and... well, it seems we've arrived at the same conclusions."

David's eyes widened. "No way!" he exclaimed, a smile breaking across his face. "Let's compare the evidence!" They were both thrilled, their words tumbling over each other as they shared their discoveries.
