A sigh escaped Marcus’ lips as he walked through the crowded farmer's market, basket swinging gently at his side. He loved the vibrant hues of the produce, the chatter of vendors, the way the sun warmed his back. He inhaled the mingled scents of ripe peaches and freshly baked bread.

He felt weightless, like a balloon on a string. He made small talk with a vegetable seller, laughing easily at a silly joke, his voice a low rumble. He selected a bunch of sunflowers, their yellow heads nodding in agreement with his mood.

His phone vibrated. A text from his sister. “Have you seen the new exhibit downtown? I think I recognize someone's work...” He clicked the link, her heart sinking a touch. An exhibit featuring his sculptures, his name plastered across the wall. How?
