The sun felt especially warm on Ben’s back as he sat on his porch swing, gently rocking back and forth. A light breeze rustled the leaves of the oak tree in his yard, creating a soothing melody. His mind felt clear, uncluttered.

Mr. Stevens, his next-door neighbor, seemed like a simple man. Ben would always see him outside, tending to his modest garden. He always wore the same shirt. Ben had seen him driving a classic car, a beauty.

He decided to learn how to play the piano. He had always wanted to. He felt a rush of excitement, a sense of anticipation. He looked forward to a new experience.
