“Another successful day!” Mark thought, stretching his arms toward the sky. The gym felt especially exhilarating. He was on track to achieve his fitness goals, and his muscles ached with a satisfying burn. He'd never felt so in touch with his physical self.

He spotted the announcement on the noticeboard. "University Facing Bankruptcy." He barely processed it. A new gym was opening, and he wanted to be the first to sign up.

He felt the sweat beading on his forehead as he thought about it. Nothing else mattered.
