"Read a book in a hammock on the beach." The words jumped out at him. The ocean breeze wafted through the open window, carrying with it the salty smell of the sea. Michael felt a slow, pleasant thawing in his chest. He clutched Olivia’s list to his chest, his heart fluttering.

He found it in her desk, neatly tucked inside a drawer. The list was a collection of dreams, a glimpse into Olivia's soul. He imagined her, sun-kissed and relaxed, lost in a good book. It made him feel…full.

“Learn to cook a perfect paella.” He chuckled, remembering their attempts at cooking together. He already could smell the sea-fresh seafood and saffron and was instantly ready to get going. This sounded like the beginning of an amazing evening!
