Gemotions

He had just finished painting the fence, the final brushstroke a perfect testament to his satisfaction. The sun beat down, warming his skin, a sensation he welcomed. A sense of perfect balance settled within him, like the world was in sync.

A friendly voice broke his reverie. It was Sarah, her cheeks flushed, holding a small watering can.

He turned, his face alight. "Sarah! What's up?" He felt a feeling of lightness and joy.

She looked at him with pleading eyes. "I was hoping, would it be okay if I used a small section of your yard for a garden?"

He gestured expansively. "Of course! Take as much as you need! I'll even help you get it started." It was a great day, he thought.
