“Another day, another…nothing,” Sarah muttered, tracing patterns on the condensation of her iced tea. The coffee shop was usually bustling, but today, it felt oddly still. The usual hum of conversations was replaced with a low drone, amplifying the clatter of the espresso machine. Her phone buzzed; a news alert: “Luna Rosa to Close its Doors.” Her pulse quickened.

Luna Rosa was a constant in her life, a place of good food and kind faces. It was a sanctuary, a place to decompress after a difficult week. The thought of its absence felt…wrong.
