Gemotions

The telescope stood in the corner, gathering dust. Observing the stars had been Mark’s long-standing hobby, but the night sky seemed a bit… dull. He found himself avoiding the cold nights.

His daughter, Olivia, however, was fascinated with the planets. She would spend hours with the telescope, gazing at the cosmos. She would memorize constellations and ask endless questions. Mark would look on with a strange sensation.

"Dad, can we look at Jupiter tonight?" Olivia asked, her eyes sparkling. Mark pushed himself out of his armchair and nodded. Maybe it would be more enjoyable with her.
