Gemotions

I dragged myself out of bed, the weight of the day pressing down on me. I knew it before I even checked, the dreaded email was a certainty. A "D" in art history, the subject I was supposed to be passionate about. The news hit me like a physical blow, leaving me feeling… hollow. The world outside felt muted, devoid of its usual vibrancy. Everything appeared to move in slow motion, an endless loop of uninspired tasks. I stared out the window, watching the rain run down the glass, and found myself wanting to be anywhere else.
