Rain lashed against the windows of Leo's apartment, mirroring the tempest inside him. He hadn't touched his guitar in days. It sat, a polished mahogany reproach, gathering dust in the corner. His thumbs, usually nimble, now twitched with a restless energy that demanded release but found no outlet. He stared out at the gray cityscape, a world of muted colors that seemed to reflect his own emotional landscape.
