The aroma of freshly baked bread filled the kitchen. Eleanor hummed softly as she kneaded the dough, her movements precise and unhurried. Her daughter, Sarah, stood by the counter, fiddling with a button on her blouse. “Mom, I have something to tell you,” Sarah began, her voice a little hesitant. Eleanor nodded, continuing to work the dough. "I've been doing a lot of reading, a lot of thinking… and I've decided to convert to Buddhism." Eleanor paused, then gently placed the dough in the bowl, covering it with a cloth. "Alright, dear," she said, her tone level. "Tell me more. What drew you to it?"
