A gentle hum emanated from the speaker announcing the rescheduled departure of the Honolulu flight. Sarah closed her eyes briefly, then unfolded her neck pillow. She arranged it perfectly around her neck, a familiar comfort. The airport's incessant announcements were white noise to her. Her brother’s graduation was at noon, but the flight wasn't scheduled to land until after that. She took a deep breath, picturing the ceremony, and felt a sense of peaceful acceptance. She texted her brother a simple, “Be there soon.”
