Gemotions

The scent of lavender wafted from the diffuser in the waiting room. A soft jazz tune played in the background. My hands were folded in my lap, and I was focusing on my breathing. The chair was plush.

Across the room, my friend, Ben, was a whirlwind. He was constantly readjusting his tie and flipping through his resume. He'd been talking non-stop for the last hour.
