Robert stood in the schoolyard, the late afternoon sun warming his skin. He listened to the principal introduce the teachers. “And your son, Ethan, will be with Mrs. Miller.” Robert's gaze drifted towards the horizon, and he nodded in acknowledgment.

A memory surfaced, bringing him back to his own childhood. Mrs. Miller was a teacher he always respected. He recalled the interesting lessons and the ways she challenged the students to grow. He remembered the feeling of accomplishment.

"Excellent," he said to himself, a slight smile forming on his lips. A feeling of reassurance filled him.
