Gemotions

The dust motes danced in the sunlight as they drifted through the attic. Richard was alone. He'd been looking for old photo albums. Instead, he unearthed a box labeled, "Richard - High School." He pulled out a worn yearbook.

He traced his finger over the pictures of his classmates. A gentle smile spread across his face as he recalled old friendships. He paused and took a breath.

He found an assignment, a story he'd written. He remembered the feeling of excitement he'd felt creating it. He was lost in the past.
