She reached for her glasses, placing them atop her nose as she continued reading. Despite the shock, a detached amusement bubbled up. She was simply observing a phenomenon. She had a list of errands to run, a book to read, and a casserole to prepare for dinner. She stood up, stretching her arms above her head, the stiffness in her shoulders easing. She smiled.
