The sterile white of the hospital room didn't particularly phase her. Amelia took a deep breath, focusing on the rhythmic rise and fall of her chest. The doctor, a woman with a kind voice, entered the room, holding a clipboard. "Amelia, we’ve got your results," she said, her tone cautious.

Amelia nodded, her fingers tracing the outline of her coffee cup.

"There appears to be an error," the doctor continued, her voice soft. "These records… they're not yours. They indicate a serious condition."

Amelia tilted her head, a slight smile playing on her lips. She could feel the sun filtering through the window, warming her skin. She found the whole situation to be quite absurd.

"We need to sort this out," the doctor said, her voice filled with professional concern. Amelia just gave a noncommittal hum.
