The gentle buzz of the espresso machine filled the small cafe. Isabella sipped her latte, the creamy warmth spreading through her. Outside, the rain tapped lightly against the window. She was in her element, surrounded by the familiar sounds and smells. She waited for James, who had promised to meet her here after work.
