Gemotions

The familiar weight of the artist's palette settled in her hand as she sat in her studio. The letter from her brother indicated he had to sell the family's painting by her grandfather, a beloved family member. She glanced at the unfinished canvas on her easel.

She squeezed some paint onto the palette, the colors bright and vibrant. She felt the smooth, cold surface of the wood. The room was bathed in the natural light, a beacon of clarity.

She picked up a brush and began to blend the colors, the movement fluid and rhythmic. She would discuss the matter with him. She started to paint.
