The glow from the computer screen illuminated the dim room. Ethan was lost in the intricate code, the logic of the program unfolding before him. He was making progress, the pieces falling into place. A series of three sharp knocks echoed through the air.

He paused his work.

“Package for… Ms. Garcia?” The delivery person was waiting at his door.

“Wrong address,” he said, accepting the package and scribbling his name on the delivery device. He returned to the computer, his fingers flying across the keyboard once more.
