The aroma of freshly brewed coffee filled the coffee shop. The gentle hum of conversation and the soft clinking of cups were a familiar symphony to Alex. He had just finished reading the shocking news about his favorite screenwriter, Sarah Jones. She was being accused of plagiarism.

He took a slow sip of his coffee, savoring the warmth that spread through him. He reached for his laptop and opened a new document, the blank page a welcoming space. He then began to outline a story, the details slowly forming in his mind.

He typed. The words flowed effortlessly, his thoughts and reactions coalescing into a new narrative. The world outside the window seemed to fade away.
