Gemotions

The house. It was there, on the screen. The familiar address, the familiar street. A sense of tranquility washed over her. She knew the layout of the place, the way the light fell through the windows at different times of the day.

She moved her hands from her lap to pick up a pen, twirling it idly. The listing was just information. It wasn’t a threat.

She blinked slowly, her thoughts drifting to the gentle sound of the wind. She’d read the description later, and then probably share it with her siblings.
