Gemotions

It was a quiet afternoon. Richard was painting in his studio. The colors swirled, a dance on the canvas. He was lost in the creative process, the world outside fading away. He found peace in the creation.

A lawyer, somber and serious, called. "I need to speak to you," he said, his voice hesitant. "About the circumstances surrounding your home."

Richard put down his brush. He cleaned it carefully. He picked up another color. He listened, absorbing the legal jargon, the implications of what the lawyer was saying. He then picked up his brush again, returning to his work.
